Supporting Jake And The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

   I am really excited about today's act of kindness/good deed. This is a picture of my fellow MOPS mom Amy Bachman and her amazing husband Jake. Jake has cystic fibrosis which is a chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. You can learn all about CF by clicking HERE. Sadly at this time there is no cure for this disease but there are lots of treatments that help people with the disease live longer and more comfortable lives. Jake and Amy both are huge advocates and fund raisers  for the cystic fibrosis foundation which is a non-profit organization that fights to find a cure and new drugs for the disease. So much in fact that Jake is being honored at Nashville's top 30 under 30 which recognizes people for their achievements professionally and philanthropically. As a part of this recognition Jake has a goal of raising $10,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. So this morning I went and donated to help him reach his goal.
